AVI ROSENFELD
A story of legacy, loss, and unshakable purpose.
Born in 1964 in Gothenburg, Sweden, to Holocaust survivor parents from Poland and Hungary, Avi Rosenfeld carries a legacy shaped by resilience and hope. From their escape through post-war Europe and Aliyah Bet, to rebuilding life in Sweden, Avi’s family story forged in him a profound sense of identity and mission.
After serving as a lone soldier in the IDF’s Nachal Brigade, Avi earned an Honours degree in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University and built a successful career in high-tech while living in London. In 2012, he and his wife Sam fulfilled a lifelong dream, making Aliyah to Raanana with their four children, where Avi later founded a boutique interior renovation business.
In 2024, their son Natan proudly joined the elite Combat Engineering Brigade (Handasa Kravit) in the IDF and was selected for officers’ training. Tragically, Natan was killed in action on June 29, 2025.
Today, Avi speaks from a place of unimaginable loss—with heartbreaking honesty, quiet strength, and unwavering love. Fluent in English, Hebrew, Swedish, and Yiddish, his words transcend borders, touching hearts across cultures and generations.
This is not just a story.
It is a tribute. A testimony. A triumph of spirit in the face of devastation, erasing all divisions; whilst demanding and embracing unity.
Avi and Natan’s story will stay with you forever.
